Dan Kovalik is a US-based human and labour rights lawyer and peace activist. He has contributed articles to CounterPunch, Huffington Post and TeleSUR, among others.

Dan has been involved for many years in international human rights and social justice issues, mainly in Latin America. He is the author of several books His most recent offering, The Plot to Control the World (2019), chronicling how the U.S. spends billions to influence elections around the world to further its imperialist aims.

Dan currently teaches International Human Rights at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and has also worked as the Associate General Counsel for the United Steelworkers union based in Pittsburgh.
