I didn’t always know there were different “ways” of relating besides just talking, and I didn’t know what connection really was until I experienced it and realized what I’d been missing out on.
It’s connection that fills us up, not achievement or acquisition, so it’s important to learn the skills we need to create the connection that nourishes our soul.
“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard and valued; When they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” – Brene Brown.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Learn 5 authentic communication tools and 5 ways of being in relationship that changed the way I relate with myself and communicate in all of my relationships to create safety and trust and ultimately deepen love and connection.
This experiential workshop will lead you through partner and group activities so that you get to practice the tools that continue to help me:
— Shift from reaction to ownership.
— Shift from blame to compassion.
— Shift from disconnection to empathy.
— Stay in connection even while in conflict.
— Speak the truth even when I’m afraid of upsetting or disappointing others.
— Sincerely communicate boundaries – to say no and put myself first without the guilt.
— Turn regular conversations into deep connections and sometimes transformative experiences.
Knowing myself as love, I want to speak and act from that loving essence while honoring myself and others simultaneously (which isn’t always easy!). These tools and ways of being opened up new dimensions to communicating that I feel very lucky to have learned so I can’t help but want to share them with you.
You will leave feeling nourished by connection and empowered to communicate your inner experience in new ways.

«To love ourselves and support each other in the process of becoming real, is perhaps the greatest single act of daring greatly.» — Brene Brown
«Brian and Meg really know how to make a vision come true. They listened to the problem I wanted to tackle and understood which kind of dynamics were needed to solve it. Honestly, the work Brian and Meg do is beyond phenomenal. They understand what the value of real connection is and have a unique way of incorporating that into tangible activities.
They have truly made our team as strong as it can be, through their facilitation I noticed everyone was truly present. Personally, I felt that the energy created in the room was so powerful and will stay connecting our team longer than our time with CUWIB. This workshop did not only help me feel truly aligned within the team but additionally, I was able to positively reflect on my own personal life.
Every team, workplace or organization should go through a CONNECTWork shop. The benefits are beyond question; endless.
I don't even know how to thank them enough for the positive influence they have had, I can only imagine the rippling effects of this experiential workshops and I am truly excited for what is to come. » – Kokeb (Carleton University Women in Business)
