Bring your family to create, learn and have fun. At each Family Sunday, kids ages 0–12 and their adults can experience the national collection through a different theme.

February 24, 2019 | Tales from Near and Far
Have you ever danced a story? Join in a workshop to learn how movement can be read! Listen to live storytelling in the gallery spaces and then use all that inspiration to create your puppet story world.

Included with admission to the Gallery.
Members — Free
Children (age 11 and under) — Free
Adults — $15
Seniors (65+) — $13
24 and under / Students — $7
Family (2 adults and 3 youths age 17 and under) — $30

April 7, 2019 | Natural Wonders
Summer is just around the corner! Get ready for your vacation by taking a tour of our Canadian landscape collection. Then build your own birdfeeder to lure some feathered friends into your backyard. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy a marionette performance inspired by the fairy tale, “The Ugly Duckling,” presented by Théâtre de Deux Mains.

Included with admission to the Gallery.

Come be inspired by architecture. Have fun building structures and imagining futuristic cities. There are no limits – just lots of tape!

November 25, 2018 | Colour Magic
Art-a-cadabra! Have fun with magician Ian Quick, who will present a colour-themed magic show. Join in the art-making fun in the Great Hall, where we’re making colourful spinning tops that magically whirl colours together.
